For Our Nation's Leaders
Oh Lord our God, please send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders, and to open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind them that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing your will. Amen.
For Our Families
Heavenly Father, may Your watchful eye be upon our families, both day and night, to protect them from physical harm, illness, and the trials of life. May You be their shield and refuge in times of trouble, and to grant them the strength to face challenges with faith and courage. Amen.
For Deliverance
Lord, you gave us authority to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to save the lost and to set the captives free. Ignite in me the power to demonstrate your authority and the supremacy rooted in your identity, and may I be clothed with the full armor of God so that no supernatural weapon that is formed against me shall prosper, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
For Our AME Church
Oh Lord our God, inspire our church leaders to strengthen their resolve and grant them wisdom, humility, understanding, courage, and enthusiasm to prepare and empower the congregation to nurture and grow our faith and our community in advancing Your Kingdom. Amen.
For Forgiveness
Lord, help me to release the weight of the guilt and shame and grant me the strength to learn from my mistakes and to grow into a better person. May Your boundless love and grace wash over me, granting me the peace that comes from knowing I am forgiven. Amen.
For Healing
Holy Spirit, drive away from me all forms of sickness and disease. Mend what is broken and root out any unproductive cells and open any blocked arteries or veins. Rebuild any damaged areas and remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection. Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body that I may live the way you intended. Amen.
For The Allen Temple AME Church
Oh Lord our God, may You be glorified in all things we do and that the name of Jesus is exalted, and that Your Spirit and power would fill the ministry with provisions such that we would be faithful to give generously for the advancement of God’s Kingdom here on earth. Amen.
For The Human Trafficked
Lord, we intercede for millions of people living in slavery. Strengthen them in body, heart and spirit and raise up those who can rescue and help them. Lord, please protect individuals who are vulnerable to heartless traffickers who work to exploit them and grant them the discernment to realize the danger and say ‘no’. Amen.
For The Bereaved
Father, we know that You are the God who comforts us. I pray that You provide a time of comfort and rest for those whose hearts are hurting right now. Hold them in Your embrace, Lord. Wrap them in Your love and remind them that though they may have lost someone dear, they are not alone, for You are with them in Jesus’ name. Amen.
