Know The Church
We believe that God is One, existing in three persons and that Jesus is Lord and the head of the church. The Holy Scriptures is the living Word of God and it is our rule and guide for faith and practice.
The Allen Temple AME Church was organized in 1947 and established in 1987. It is part of the Brooklyn/Westchester District in the New York Annual Conference of the First Episcopal District.
The Official Board is the governing body for managing the church. It comprises all Stewards, Trustees, Stewardesses, Class Leaders, Exhorters, Deaconesses, and Presidents of all components.
